After discovering how easy and simple it was to make my Ninja Creami Pineapple Sorbet , I knew I had to try a peach version and I promise it doesn’t disappoint!

There’s nothing that says summer like a big juicy peach, and this sorbet is the perfect light, refreshing treat! 🍑

I love to mix things up with these fruity sorbets, but if you’re looking for a more traditional ice cream recipe, try my Chocolate Oreo Protein Ice Cream , Strawberry Ice Cream , Vanilla Protein Ice Cream or any other recipe in my Ninja Creami Series .

Table Talk with Tawnie

Being pregnant going into the summer, I am all about an easy treat these days and this peach sorbet definitely hits the spot. I mean, you can’t beat a 3 ingredient dessert! It satisfies my sweet tooth but is also still refreshing and light. And not only do I love it, but my whole family does too. It’s perfect for hot summer days and I guarantee it’ll be on repeat all summer long at our house!

  • Peaches: I used a can of peach chunks with the juice (Del Monte brand).
  • Fresh lime juice : Optional, but the lime juice helps to balance out the sweetness of the peaches and gives this sorbet lots of fresh flavor!
  • Pinch of salt: The salt helps to balance out the natural sweetness of the fruit, as well as intensifying the flavor and making it taste more vibrant.

Mix the base ingredients

Pour the can of peaches along with the juice, lime juice, and salt to an empty CREAMi™ Pint and stir gently to combine.

Freeze

Freeze the pint on a level surface in the freezer, with the lid off, for 24 hours. Tip: freezing with the lid on creates a hump at the top of the ice cream, which can damage the blade, so be sure to leave it off.

Assemble & Spin

Remove the pint from the freezer, place it in the outer bowl, and lock the lid on top. Place the bowl assembly on the motor base, twist the handle right to raise the platform, and lock it in place. Select Sorbet and spin! It shouldn’t need another respin, but if the sides are icy, you can scrape down and Respin 1x if necessary.

Expert Tips

  • Prep in advance: Make sure to allow your pint at least 24 hours to freeze before spinning.
  • Avoid icy edges: You can run your pint container under warm water for 30 seconds before running it through the Ninja Creami machine.
  • Re-spins: It shouldn’t need another respin, but if the sides are icy, you can scrape down and respin 1x if necessary.
  • Don’t overfill the container: Make sure not to overfill the pint container. Depending on the size of the can of peaches you use, the entire can of peaches won’t completely fit. A 15.25 oz. can fits great for me! Fill until the max fill line. The sorbet expands in volume as it spins, so you want to make sure there is enough room for it to properly spin or it won’t turn out right.

Variations / Substitutions

  • Sweetener: If you choose to use sugar-free canned peaches, you may want to add a little bit of sugar (or sweetener of choice) when you’re mixing the base ingredients together.
  • Blend before freezing: If you prefer a completely smooth base, you can pour all your ingredients into a blender and blend before adding to the pint container. I found this recipe worked fine just dumping all the ingredients in straight from the can but if you’re worried about the texture or the blades of your Ninja Creami, you can always blend everything up before freezing!

Storage / Freezing

If you don’t finish the pint, use a spoon to smooth and level out the top and place back in the freezer with the lid. When ready to eat, re-spin the frozen pint on Sorbet.

Do I need to blend the peaches before blending?

I found the peach chunks are small enough that they don’t have to be blended before adding to the pint container. However, if you prefer an ultra-smooth texture or are worried about your blades, you can always blend all the ingredients before adding to the pint container!

Can I make this recipe with fresh peaches?

So after I tested my pineapple sorbet with fresh and frozen pineapple and found the canned pineapple worked best (you can read all about my trail and error in that blog post) I just skipped right to canned peaches for this recipe. If you use fresh, you’ll need to add some juice for the liquid it needs. Also, if you have some fresh peaches on hand, I highly recommend you check out my Peach Galette or Mini Peach Cobblers !

Can I make this recipe with frozen peaches?

Can I add dairy?

Yes! You can add some Greek yogurt or half and half to make a creamy, peach sorbet!
